Goldenrods are all beautiful and beneficial to native pollinators. Tall and long-blooming with bright yellow flowers. Goldenrods start blooming late summer and continue on until fall.
Height: 2-4’
Exposure: Full to part sun
Disclaimer: Telling the species and subspecies of goldenrods apart can be very challenging, even by scientists classifying them. As such, we believe these to be solidago canadensis due to their nearly hairless lower stems and lack of galls. It is possible that they are solidago altissima. Either way, pollinators won’t be scientific name-checking before they go to work.
