People are normally quite surprised to hear that the great rose-like flowers of the 'Illumination' begonia are a begonia- they look nothing like traditional begonias. The cascading flowers naturally fall when old (no deadheading) and have new flowers waiting to take their place. These are go-to flowers that provide a constant display of color from spring through to fall. Shady areas have no need to fear anymore as illumination begonias are happiest in shade to part shade locations.
