The first Minnesota native rose we carry is Rosa blanda otherwise known as the Smooth Wild Rose. Blooms profusely throughout the months of June and July. Once done blooming, it start to form attractive clumps of rose hips that turn bright red in the fall. Despite its common name of "Smooth Wild Rose" it will have prickles on its older stems.
